Details, refunds, and the fine print.
Everything we promise, everything you're responsible for, and how we'll make it right if Cohort 1 isn't a fit.
What's included
- Four live sessions with Ashley — Saturdays and Sundays of two consecutive weekends, 10am–3pm EST each day.
- Lifetime access to every session recording, posted within 48 hours of each session.
- Access to Cameron, the Waymaker AI cofounder, for the duration of the cohort and after.
- Cohort chat (Discord or Slack — link emailed before the first session) for peer feedback and accountability.
- The Waymaker side-hustle template library (70+ starting points) for the Weekend 1 build.
- Founding members keep the same access price ($299) for any future cohort re-runs they want to sit in on.
Tech requirements
- A laptop with at least 8GB RAM (Mac, Windows, or Linux).
- A stable internet connection capable of video calls.
- A free account at Claude Code (free to install).
- A free Waymaker account at app.waymaker.cx.
- Optional: a custom domain (~$12/year). Free Vercel URLs also work.
- Optional: a Stripe account to receive your first sale. Setup time is ~15 minutes inside Weekend 2.
Refund policy
We want you to feel safe committing. The refund schedule for Cohort 1:
- Full refund if you request it before June 13, 2026 (one week before Cohort 1 begins).
- 50% refund if you request it between June 13 and June 20, 2026 (the cohort start date).
- No refunds after the first live session on June 20, 2026. Recordings are still yours for life.
To request a refund, email ashley@waymaker.cx from the same address you used to buy. Refunds are processed within 5 business days.
Transfer policy
Life happens. You can transfer your seat once, in either of two ways:
- Transfer to a different person for Cohort 1. Email Ashley with the new person's name + email and we'll swap them in. No charge.
- Transfer to a future cohort. If Cohort 1 doesn't work for your schedule after all, your seat is good for the next cohort run at no additional cost.
Transfers must be requested before the start of your second weekend — once you've attended the first weekend, the seat is committed to Cohort 1.
Missed sessions
Sessions are recorded and posted within 48 hours. If you miss a session:
- Watch the recording as soon as it's posted.
- Use the cohort chat to ask questions about anything that didn't translate from the recording.
- Catch up on the build / sell tasks before the next live session so you stay with the group.
Missing a session is not a problem. Missing a session and falling behind on the actual build is — the cohort moves together. Catch up before the next session.
Community rules
Cohort chat is small, focused, and friendly. To keep it that way:
- Be specific. "Why isn't my landing page deploying?" + error message beats "help, broken."
- Share work-in-progress. The point is to see real builds at different stages — don't wait for polish.
- No outside selling. Don't pitch your services or products in the chat unless someone asks. The chat is for the cohort, not for marketing.
- No hate, harassment, or spam. Three strikes and you're removed, refund forfeited at that stage. Has not happened yet — let's keep it that way.
Data and privacy
For full details see our site-wide privacy policy and terms. Course-specific notes:
- Your application data (if you apply for a founding-free seat) is stored in Waymaker's Supabase database and used only to evaluate your application.
- The public commitment URL you submit will be reviewed and may be shared by Ashley on social channels as part of cohort promotion.
- Session recordings are visible to cohort members only. They may be edited for clarity and reused as part of the async product (with your face and audio included) — let Ashley know if you'd prefer to be edited out of public-facing clips.
